Hiking

You can learn more about each by clicking the trail name below:

• Bear Creek - an easy 4.5 mile hike that departs from Town and leads to Bear Creek Falls at the top via mellow incline. 

• Jud Weibe - a moderate 3.1 mile loop with breathtaking views of the valley; there is a reason this is a local's fave for a quick burn right from Town!

• Village Trail - a rolling three-mile descent from the Station St. Sophia Gondola terminal crossing ski runs with great views to the west. 

• Ridge Trail - an easy 1.7 mile trail that takes you from the heart of Mountain Village to the top of the ridge via gentle switchbacks.  

• Hope Lake - a car will be required to access the trailhead, but if you are looking for a day adventure this moderate 6 mile out and back trail will take you to one of Telluride's high alpine lakes! If you are brave, take a dip!

Shopping
Strolling around historic Telluride is a great way to spend the afternoon. A few of our favorite shops include:

• Two Skirts - a vibrant women's boutique with a mix of designers you know and love and lesser known finds you wont see anywhere else!

• Camp Bird Hats - a truly custom hat experience that is not to miss. If you are considering a custom hat you will want to make an appointment ASAP, otherwise, feel free to stop by and shop her ready to wear options as well.

• Hook - this shop is full of gifts, home goods, candles and souvenirs.

• Telluride Trappings & Toggery - a shop for the whole family and the best place to get a "Telluride" tee shirt to take home.​

• Overland - dedicated to high-end accessories, outerwear & shoes made from sheepskin, leather & fur.
